King Charles III in December 2026: the reading

December quietly introduces one of the defining transits of his next two years. Pluto, at the start of Aquarius, comes within about a degree of his Descendant, the point opposite his Ascendant. Pluto here is associated with transformation that comes through other people: partners, allies, counterparts and the public mirror.

Jupiter turns retrograde on December 13 in his second house of resources, and Saturn turns direct in Aries in his ninth house. The Full Moon in Cancer on December 24 falls on his natal Uranus and opposite his natal Jupiter, a culminating moment for questions of tradition and change.
