In the ReYep app
- Open ReYep and go to the Me tab.
- Tap “Delete account”.
- Confirm with “Delete permanently”.
Using the app without an account? Your birth details are stored only on your phone: tap “Remove my data from this phone” on the Me tab, or uninstall the app.
On the website
Enter the email address of your ReYep account. If an account uses it, we will email you a link to confirm the deletion. The link works for one hour.
No longer have access to that email address? Write to privacy@reyep.com from another address and tell us which account it is.
What we delete
- Your account: email address, name, username and sign-in details, including Google sign-in.
- Your birth details: date, time and place of birth, and your sign.
- Every rating and note you gave predictions and daily readings, and your rating history.
- Your sessions: you are signed out of the app and the website on every device.
What we keep
- Nothing that is linked to you. Site-wide figures, such as the accuracy numbers on our homepage, are recalculated without your ratings.
- Copies in our hosting provider’s routine backups and server logs are removed when those are overwritten in their normal cycle. We never restore deleted accounts from them.
- Emails we have already sent you stay in your inbox.
